How Many Photos Will You Receive? Adrian Bonet’s Deliverables

by FAQ's

In the digital age, we are used to taking twenty photos of our lunch just to get one good angle. It is natural to wonder how this translates to your wedding day. You want to ensure that every moment is captured, but you also don’t want to be overwhelmed by a gallery of thousands of near-identical images.

A very practical question I receive is: How many photos will we receive? The answer depends on the flow of your day, but there is a reliable industry standard I follow. On average, you can expect to receive 50 to 100 images per hour of coverage. This post explains how Adrian Bonet Photography curates your gallery to ensure you receive a complete narrative without the clutter.

Do not let logistics stress you out. Secure a photographer who knows the area inside and out. Contact Adrian Bonet Photography to check availability for your venue today.

The Magic Number: What to Expect

The Hourly Average

While every wedding is unique, photography coverage is generally predictable. I deliver between 50 and 100 fully edited images per hour. This range allows for the quiet moments as well as the action-packed ones. For a standard 8-hour wedding, you can expect a final gallery containing approximately 500 to 800 images. For shorter elopements or 5-hour packages, the count will naturally be lower, usually between 250 and 400 images.

No Caps or Limits

It is important to note that I do not place a hard “cap” on the number of photos. If your wedding is incredibly high-energy and there are amazing moments happening every second, I will deliver more. I never withhold good photos simply to hit a specific number. If it is a good shot, it goes in the gallery.

Quality Over Quantity

A Curated Story

More photos does not always mean better coverage. Imagine reading a book where every sentence was repeated three times; it would be exhausting. A wedding gallery works the same way. My goal is to tell a story that flows. I focus on Quality over Quantity. I want every image you click on to be a “wow” moment, rather than giving you 15 versions of the same family photo where only the eye position is slightly different.

The “Filler” Myth

Some photographers promise thousands of images, but often those galleries are filled with duplicates, test shots, and out-of-focus errors. I believe your memories deserve better. I curate the gallery so that you receive the very best version of every moment, polished and ready to print.

Factors That Influence the Count

Guest Count and Activity

The size of your wedding plays a huge role in the final number. A wedding with 200 guests on a packed dance floor naturally generates more photo opportunities than an intimate dinner for ten. The more Activity there is—toasts, games, performances, sparkler exits—the more photos there will be.

Second Shooters

If you choose a package that includes a Second Photographer, your final image count will likely be higher. Having two cameras running simultaneously means we are capturing two angles of every moment (e.g., your reaction and your partner’s reaction), which naturally increases the volume of the final delivery.

Details and Decor

The amount of Decor also impacts the count. If you have elaborate floral installations, personalized place settings, and a dessert table, I will spend time documenting those details, which adds to the total number of images in your collection.

The Art of Culling

What is Culling?

After the wedding, I perform a process called Culling. This is where I remove the blinking eyes, the blur caused by movement, the test shots used to check lighting, and the unflattering candid angles. You are not paying me to sift through the “rejects”; you are paying me to identify the art.

Trusting the Professional

This process ensures that you don’t have to waste time sorting through bad photos. When you open your gallery, you can trust that what you are seeing is the complete narrative of the day, filtered through my professional eye to ensure only the highest quality images remain.
